Have you ever had a cricket sneak into your home and do that cricket sound while you're trying to get some sleep?
Have any of these things made you want to get your REVENGE on the crickets that have been tormenting you?
Well, ladies and gentlemen, you can get your revenge now... with a chocolate paprika CRICKET doughnut from Glory Hole Doughnuts in Toronto:

Update: Due to popular demand, I'll reveal how it tasted.
This is a yeast doughnut. But a very good one. Moist, soft, not dry. The chocolate tastes rich, but not too sweet. When you touch it, some of the chocolate comes off on your finger. This isn't that typical cheap hard chocolate glaze you get at regular doughnut shops. Mixed in with the chocolate is some paprika which gives it an unusual zing. The crickets? They don't have much flavour. They add a bit of crunch like if there were almond slices on top. Only less flavour than almond. The crickets were dry roasted first. As far as chocolate glazed yeast doughnuts go, this one is above average and is a bit unusual (in a good way) in flavour. But most of the 'unusual' is due to the paprika and type of chocolate used. The crickets contribute more to the texture, not the flavour.

Yep... it's a real doughnut place. They make gourmet doughnuts. A half dozen doughnuts and a coffee cost a little over $20... which is more than triple of what it costs at a typical doughnut shop. But of course the doughnuts they sell are far from typical.

If you go, go earlier in the day. They often sell out. The last time I went, it was an hour before they closed... and they were COMPLETELY sold out. Not a single doughnut left.
Today I went shortly after lunch... and by the time I was done my coffee, the cricket doughnuts were sold out.
